Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies reepl.io uses, why, and how to change your preferences at any time.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. This policy covers reepl.io and its subdomains; it does not cover the Reepl product application, whose own cookie usage is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Cookie Categories
When you first visit reepl.io, a consent banner lets you choose which of the following categories to allow. Only Essential cookies are set before you make a choice.
| Name | Category | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
reepl_cookie_consent_v1 | Essential | Reepl (first-party, browser local storage) | Remembers your cookie consent choices so we don’t ask again on every visit. | Until you clear your browser storage |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Essential | Cloudflare (first-party, security) | Distinguishes humans from bots and protects the site against abuse (includes Cloudflare Turnstile on forms). | Up to 30 minutes |
_ga, _ga_*, _gid | Analytics | Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (third-party) | Distinguishes visitors and sessions to measure site usage in aggregate. | _gid: 24 hours · _ga / _ga_*: up to 2 years |
ph_* | Analytics | PostHog (third-party) | Product analytics (page views, feature usage). Autocapture and session recording are disabled; inputs are masked where recording is used elsewhere in the product. | Up to 1 year |
| GTM-scoped marketing tags (set only if you enable Marketing) | Marketing | Google Tag Manager and any connected ad platforms (third-party) | Measures campaign effectiveness and, where enabled, supports retargeting. | Varies by platform, up to 2 years |
This table is updated as our tooling changes. If you spot a cookie we haven’t listed, please contact us at privacy@reepl.io and we will investigate and update this page.
3. Managing Your Preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer, which reopens the consent banner. Declining Analytics or Marketing cookies does not affect Essential cookies, which are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
You can also control cookies at the browser level — most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking Essential cookies may break parts of the site.
