What happened to EngageAI?
EngageAI was removed from the Chrome Web Store in June 2025 as part of LinkedIn's broader crackdown on automation tools. The extension had approximately 50,000 users. Kleo (70,000 users) was shut down during the same enforcement wave. LinkedIn has been systematically targeting extensions that enable automated engagement -- commenting, messaging, and posting without direct human action. EngageAI's removal was permanent, and the tool is no longer available for download or use.
